KEY INGREDIENTS:
Chitosan Chitin and Chitosan are well-known natural biopolymers that occur in many organisms, such as crustaceans, insects, fungi and algae. Chitin is one of the most common natural polysaccharides. The most important source of chitosan (produces the most consistent quality) is shrimp shells from the species Pandalus Borealis from Norway. The shells contain 30-35% proteins, 30-30% minerals, 3-7% lipids, 15-20% chitin and approximately 5% soluble proteins. Chitosan is obtained through the deproteinization, decalcification and deacetylation of the shells. Chitin remains behind as an insoluble skeletal substance with incredible benefits to the skin. Similar to collagen (but more natural) and hyaluronic acid, chitosan reduces transepidermal water loss. The resulting chitosan has a low protein content therefore an extremely low probability for allergic reaction in people who have fish or shellfish allergies.
DIRECTIONS:
Thoroughly moisten eye pads with Rehydrating Neroli Water and apply under eye area. Leave on for 15 minutes. Remove. Gently apply Brightening Eye Crème to the eye area.
